Full Mouth Rehabilitations

Phase 2
Usually 2 appointments

Phase 2 of a full mouth rehabilitation involves restoring your back teeth to be in harmony with your new front teeth. In a full mouth rehabilitation, your bite is restored in the most ideal way. The front teeth and the back teeth must work together as a single unit. If you like the look of longer front teeth and you have very short front teeth now, then most likely your back teeth work in harmony with your short front teeth. In many cases your bite changes when you get dental work done or the back teeth get worn over time and you learn to eat differently. This adapted way of eating and grinding puts different stresses on your front teeth that cause premature damage making them look worn and old. In order to function properly with longer front teeth, the shape and length of your back teeth will need to be altered. This is done in phase 2 by using life like porcelain restorations that cover the tops and sides of your teeth.
