Full Mouth Rehabilitations

Phase 1
Usually 3 Appointments

In most cases your full mouth rehabilitation will proceed in two phases. Phase 1 will usually involve the front ten teeth on the top and the front 10 teeth on the bottom. Phase 2 will involve the remaining back teeth.

Appointment 1

The first appointment of a Full Mouth Rehabilitation will be for your diagnostic records, bite analysis and TMJ diagnosis.

The first appointment will usually last for up to 2 hours and may involve a "gum lift" and any other preliminary laser gum recontouring. You may be given a bite appliance called an NTI at your first appointment to wear between your first two appointments. The purpose of the first appointment is to establish the final position of your joint and bite as well as the lengths and positions of your final restorations.

Appointment 2

Approximately 3 to 4 weeks later you will return for your second appointment. The second appointment will be the preparation appointment and will last from 4 to 6 hours. Take any prescribed medication as directed by us prior to your appointment to ensure the most pleasant and quickest recovery possible. Depending on the length of time involved with each individual case, some guests will elect to have the preparation appointment split into two separate appointments. Please, give us your movie and music preferences so that we may best keep you entertained for the length of the appointment. At the end of the appointment you will have temporaries that are the actual prototypes of the final restorations. Your teeth will look great! We will go over all the home care instructions in order for you to take the best care possible of your temporaries until your next appointment. Your new smile and bite will take some time to get used to. Your speech may be affected at first, but it is temporary and you will adjust to it in a short time.

Appointment 3

Your third appointment for the cementation will be in approximately 1 month. Your crowns and veneers have been made by one of the best ceramicists at one of the finest labs in the country and will usually be cemented without any problems. The process takes 2-4 hours. We will spend extra time customizing the color of your teeth and adjusting your bite.
